Dimensions: H: 39 in / 99 cm W: 52 in / 132 cm D: 30 in / 76 cm Constructed in a well figured Satinwood, with boxwood line inlay throughout, in the restrained classical taste: rising from fluted cylindrical tapering legs, issuing from bulb form capitols, adorned with stiff leaf carving, and capped with castor shod toes; the frieze housing one long, and two flanking shorter drawers, all fitted with locks, and silvered handles; the writing surface having a tooled leather inset, and the superstructure housing a central lockable cupboard, flanked by two banks of drawers, with further cupboards and drawers in the angles and the spurs, the whole being surmounted by a pierced brass gallery.
