A Rare Suite of Four Pastille Burners in the Louis XVI Manner

Constructed in bronze dore and brecciated Sarrancolin marble; the square base decorated with cast Vitruvian scrolls, the tapering and waisted lobed columns issuing foliate and stiff leaf cast clasps, supporting the lidded ovoid bodies with ormolu swagged banding held by putti, with waisted and pierced pastille burners with knopped finials.
