Of serpentine demi-lune form, constructed employing mahogany, with extensive use of marquetry foliates, and gold ground upper door panels, painted in the Vernis Martin manner depicting fête galante scenes with courting couples. and well-cast and chased gilt bronze mounts; both rising from bronze shod toupie feet, with tapering cannellure legs dressed with bellflowers, conjoined by lower tiers, with conforming columns to the rears; one cabinet having a central shaped shelf; the aprons house single long drawers, richly adorned with ormolu foliate scrollwork; the Vernis Martin decorated lockable doors flanked by conforming columns open to reveal shelved interiors, and conforming marquetry foliate work to the sides, with further ormolu scrollwork to the pediments, interspersed with rosaces, and having pierced ormolu galleries atop
