A Fine Armchair
in the Manner of Thomas Chippendale

Constructed in richly coloured and crisply carved mahogany, rising from square relief-carved legs having gadrooned terminals and joined with a pierced stretcher to the sabre hind legs. The side rails richly carved, and having an upholstered seat, with swept dished arms adorned with foliate carving; the complex and interlaced back housed within gently shaped uprights.
