It is constructed in walnut, gilt brass, and with a gros point needlework panel. Rising from a tripartite scrolled toed hipped and cabriole legged base supporting a collared tapering column with foliate carving. The column issues a cast gilt brass riser terminating with a shaped finial. The riser has an adjustable cross member dressed with a gros point polychrome needlework shield form panel, depicting the Royal Coat of Arms of Denmark. Circa 1860
