A Fine Georgian Sideboard
After the design by George Hepplewhite
Constructed in mahogany of good depth and color; rising from tapering spade legs; the kneehole center having a drawer over and flanked by pairs of drawers, all lockable and fitted with ring handles with circular embossed backplates; the platform of bow fronted form.
English, circa 1800
This design appears as plate 62 in Hepplewhite's 'Cabinet maker and Upholsterer's Guide', of 1794.
