A Fine End Support Table Firmly Attributed to Gillows of Lancaster

Constructed in goncalo alves, having block end bases on winged feet with castors, the angles having cotton reel turnings, the columns turned, tapered and carved with stiff leaf adornments, with a tapered and ring turned stretcher, the top having radiused corners, with two mahogany lined drawers with quadrant moulding in the frieze, and a conforming ‘cotton reel’ edging. England, Circa 1825.
