Constructed in beautiful book matched kingwood veneers, and dressed with gilt metal mounts and ‘Sevres’ style plaques; rising from swept cabriole legs shod with gilt metal sabots, having foliate espagnolettes atop, the friezes housing lockable drawers with gilt metal rococo loop handles and keyhole escutcheons; the platforms of serpentine form, dressed with bronze guard bands, and centred with elliptical ‘Sevres’ plaques of putti within foliate bronze cartouches.
