With brass drop side carrying handles the sloping fall-front inlaid with fern branches in a banded surround, opening to reveal a fitted interior of pigeon holes, inkwell compartments and pen tray, the reverse with a similar fern decorated panel falling to reveal a document compartment. England, Circa 1860.
