Constructed in bois noirci, dressed with gilt bronzes, and hardstone inlays; rising from incurved serpentine stepped bases, the inverted tapering columns having central hardstone panels depicting birds amidst fruiting trees, with smaller paired panels above, all within gilt bronze frameworks; pairs of male paired gilt bronze herms flank the upper column sections, with the shaped platforms dressed with conforming black marble tops.
