A Matched Pair of Tables Ambulantes
in the Transitional Style

Constructed from mahogany and ormolu-mounted throughout, the tables supported on cabriole legs with bronze sabots and acanthus-styled espagnolettes, a galleried undertier joining the legs; above, the serpentine shaped frieze enclosing a single drawer, the gilt bronze mouldings enclosing the rectangular tops with marquetry musical trophies. Stamped and dated Henry Dasson 1880 and 1882.
