A Late Georgian Burr Elm Davenport Desk
Crafted in fine burr elm displaying its figured grain and original patina. The sloping leather-inset writing surface, fitted with a Bramah lock and bordered by a three-quarter pierced brass gallery, lifts to reveal a compartmentalised interior fitted with four small drawers. The pedestal support with graduated drawers to one side and a pull-out pen tray to the other, the shaped apron with Sheraton-style bracket feet.
