An Unusual Regency Hall Bench
Of must unusual trapezoidal shape, its front rail being wider than its back rail, the bench is constructed in rosewood with brass mounts and inlay typical of the Regency era, supported on octagonal legs with acanthus leaf capitals; the seat rail and armrests inlaid with stylised iris flower patterns. The padded and deep-buttoned upholstery of later date.
