DescriptionSet upon a shaped rosewood and birds eye maple base with everted angles, nubbed feet supporting the rosewood cabinet which has concave doors, with the glazing having arcaded decoration, separated by reeded and turned columns, inlaid with descending spirals of boxwood foliates: the interior having a display stand with dolphin supports, oval platforms with pearl shaped inlays; the back interior mirrored; the body of the cabinet profusely inlaid with opposed anthemion motifs and dolphins; finials of flattened bun form, capped with ivory acorns surmount the top. Vienna, Circa 1835.
