Description
The ornate and shaped gilt bronze case having putti at the angles, surmounted by two winged putti, one proffering a laurel wreath; dressed with hand painted dusky rose ‘Sevres’ hand painted panels framed within tied cannelures, and displaying disporting putti; the lever movement driving the clock for eight days, and striking the hours on a bell. The back plate bears a serial number, 44442.
