An Exquisite Jewel Casket in the Louis XV Manner
Employing a finely grained book-matched tulipwood, the whole extensively crossbanded with kingwood having gilt bronze mounts and inset with sévres style porcelain plaques. The hinged top lifting upwards with a front à abattant revealing drawers. The casket supported on serpentine legs and incorporating a lockable drawer.
