A Pair of Urns in the Louis XVI Manner
Constructed in white Carrara marble, and dressed with fine ormolu work; rising from circular stepped bases dressed with running ormolu bands cast with stiff leaves, and paterae, with waisted and tapering supports to the ovoid bodies, having central ormolu foliate cast bands, with female masks and intertwined handles of swan form, terminating in acanthus cast lids with pine cone finials.
