Of rectangular form, constructed in various specimen woods including thuya, walnut, boxwood, and yew, and having ormolu bronze adornments; rising from tapering octagonal legs and having crocket form gilt bronze feet; a lockable single drawer to the frieze, set with gilt bronze swags, with rosaces to the angles; the complex pictorial marquetry and inscribed platform depicting a bucolic pastoral scene.
