Description
A Fine Trompe l'Œil Painted Occasional Table
The top, of octagonal form, painted in imitation of costly specimen marbles, with a central motif depicting the Doves of Pliny. The slender tapering legs having carved giltwood decoration and a simulated coromandel stretcher; the apron in conforming finish with faux wood, simulated ivory, and carved paterae.
