In the Louis XV Manner
Constructed in gilt bronze, the ovoid body composed of six blown crystal facets interspersed with ormolu acanthus-stylized scrolls, the lower and upper registers with openwork bronzework of Vitruvian and spiraling patterns each termanting in tapering finials; suspended from tied ribbons.
