A Fine Louis XVI Style Occasional Table
In the manner of Martin Carlin (1730-1785)
Constructed from the finest French-imported woods including bois satiné, purpleheart, and tulipwood crossbanding, decorated with ormolu mounts, the circular table supported on cabriole legs with scrolling sabots and joined by a galleried undertier, the paterae issuing fluted uprights inlaid with bronze floral pendants, the panelled frieze supporting the circular quarter-veneered bois satiné within a beaded border and with tulipwood radial crossbanding.
