A Magnificent 'Black Forest' Carved Table-Top Drinks Cabinet
Hand-carved from Lindenwood, the drinks box of undulating rectangular shape carved in exquisite relief, depicting foliate scrolling motifs. Supported on branchwork feet with leafy paterae and the top surmounted by a sculptural group of two Saint-Bernard dogs on a rocky outcrop, the hinged lid opening up to reveal an interior fitted with a decanter holder housing four glass bottles and sixteen drinking glasses.
