Blue Sèvres Style Porcelain Cachepots
The cobalt 'beau bleu' porcelain bodies each finely painted with interior scenes in the manner of Jean-Antoine Watteau within a gilded cartouche. The reverse displaying capriccio views executed in the same manner within conforming cartouches. The mounts are finely cast and chased, having cloven feet, annular laurel foliage and berries, with acanthus twin-handles bearing female masks and a pierced gallery to the top.
