A Magnificent Pair of Louis XV Style
Ormolu & Crystal Girandoles
Probably by Baccarat
Constructed from finely cast and chased ormolu, the imposing floor candelabra—almost 2-meters tall—are supported on four lion’s paw feet surrounding a central finial and concentric laurel leaves with acanthus scrolls, supporting the main branchwork, composed of five arms dressed with a myriad of French crystal drops, rosettes, and obelisks. Fitted for electricity: five candles each and additional filament bulbs.
