A George IV Period Rosewood Writing Table
Attributed to Gillows

Constructed from Mahogany, of end support design, the tapered and turned ends with reeded baluster supports jointed together by a turned stretcher above cabriole legs terminating in scrolled feet with relief carving and hidden brass castors; the frieze with the unusual feature of two drawers housed in the sides, beneath the rectangular top with rounded corners and gadrooned edge.
