A Good Giltwood Canapé
in the Louis XVth Manner
Possibly retailed by Maison Jansen
Rising from scroll-toed cabriole legs, decorated with a rope twist motif to the edges, conjoining the serpentine front rails, themselves adorned with foliates and 'c' scrolls; the swept arms issue from the cartouche form back, with its serpentine, decorated top rail.
